Can’t connect to EA?
EA lets an account hold one session at a time, and it is EA, not FUTZIP, that ends it. These are the usual causes and what to do about each.
It says I’m signed in on another device
EA keeps one session per account. If the game, a console or another phone signed in after FUTZIP, EA ended FUTZIP’s session. That is EA’s rule, not a fault in your account. Close the game completely, not just to the home screen, give EA a few minutes to let go of the session, then try again. If you are about to play, turn on console mode first so FUTZIP stays out of the game’s way.
The verification code never arrives
EA sends that code, to the e-mail or phone number EA has on file. FUTZIP does not send it and cannot see it. Check the spam folder and that you are looking at the right address, wait a minute or two, then ask EA to send it again on EA’s own page. Wait a little between requests rather than asking again and again.
It connected, then dropped
The connection runs through an EA page that FUTZIP keeps open for you. It closes when EA ends the session, most often because the game took it, or when that page reloads. FUTZIP never signs in again on its own, because that would end your game’s session too, so one press reopens it. If it keeps closing, something else is signing in to your EA account: see the first answer.
EA asks me to verify myself
Sometimes EA wants its own check, such as a captcha or a security code, before it answers. FUTZIP cannot answer it for you and does not try. Open EA’s sign-in, complete the check there, and the connection carries on from that page.
EA says it paused requests
EA can pause an account for a while. FUTZIP stops its own requests to EA for as long as that lasts, and nothing is lost: your club stays as it was last read. Wait a while, then try again. EA decides when the pause ends.
Will FUTZIP work while I’m playing?
No, and it should not try. Signing in to EA’s web app ends the game’s session, so FUTZIP keeps EA closed in console mode while you play. Turn it on before you start; when you are done, “I left the game, sync” reconnects in one press. Everything you synced earlier stays on screen meanwhile.
Is my password safe?
You sign in on EA’s own page, shown inside FUTZIP. Your password goes to EA and nowhere else: FUTZIP never sees it or stores it, and EA’s session key stays inside that page. EA’s terms do not cover third-party tools, so use FUTZIP knowing that.
