Ramires vs Michaël Essien in EA FC 27: which card is better?
Ramires vs Michaël Essien: stats, PlayStyles, roles and live prices of both EA FC 27 cards side by side.
Verdict
Ramires (Base Hero, 86) and Michaël Essien (Base Icon, 88) are two CDMs in FC 27 Ultimate Team who share the Holding role and the Press Proven and Relentless PlayStyles. Both can also play CM, and both are eligible for Evolutions. They get the job done in different ways.
Ramires is the quicker, more mobile one: PAC 88 against 82, 4-star skill moves, and Intercept as a PlayStyle+. Essien is the sturdier ball-winner: PHY 89, DEF 86, strength 90, and Anticipate as a PlayStyle+, with Jockey for staying in front of attackers. In possession Ramires brings Pinged Pass and Chip Shot, while Essien offers Incisive Pass and Power Shot.
I would pick Essien for a physical, positional anchor who wins duels, and Ramires for a fast box-to-box CDM who presses and can also cover RM or CM.
Ramires wins 20 of 38 attributes.
