Claude Makélélé vs Scott McTominay in EA FC 27: which card is better?

Claude Makélélé, a Base Icon, and Scott McTominay, an Ultimate Scream card, both sit at 88 overall in CDM, and both carry Intercept as a PlayStyle+ and the Holding role. They reach the same job by different routes: one is built on defending, the other on all-round physical output.
