Scout report
Inventive is a Passing PlayStyle that makes lofted passes and fancy passes, including outside-of-the-foot passes, more accurate. It also triggers Inventive animations when the situation suits them. In FC 27, 585 cards carry it, either as the plain PlayStyle or as PlayStyle+.
Inventive suits playmakers, which is why CAM leads with 173 cards, followed by CM with 115, RM with 79, LM with 59 and RW with 45. On this page the best-ranked cards by meta rating are Zinedine Zidane (94 CAM), Garrincha (93 RW) and Alexia Putellas (92 CAM, in FUT Champions and Team of the Week versions). Ousmane Dembélé (90 ST, Gold) is the best non-Icon option listed.
Pick Inventive if you build attacks through the middle or the wings and rely on lofted or fancy passes to break defences. It matters little for defenders or pure finishers.
