Scout report
Anticipate is a defending PlayStyle in FC 27 Ultimate Team. It improves your chances of winning a standing tackle and lets the player stop the ball directly at their feet when tackling. FUTZIP lists 630 cards that carry it, either as plain Anticipate or as PlayStyle+.
The numbers show where it lives: CB leads with 248 cards, then CDM with 99, RB with 93, LB with 86 and CM with 81. Centre-backs and holding midfielders gain the most, because they tackle in front of the box. The top of the ranking is led by Lothar Matthäus (90 CM), Lilian Thuram (89 RB) and Nuno Mendes (89 LB), with Paolo Maldini (93 CB) fourth.
Worth chasing if you defend with standing tackles rather than jockeying and sliding. Pick a CB or CDM first, since that is where most of the cards sit.
