Side Stopper was a free FC 27 Evolution built for fullbacks. It took a right back or left back rated 81 or lower and turned it into a far sturdier defender, with the biggest boosts going to tackling, interceptions and physical attributes across three levels. The Evolution has now ended.

To qualify, a card needed to be an RB or LB with an overall of 81 or less, Pace of 83 or less and no more than 7 PlayStyles. CB and CDM cards were excluded. Level 1 added +4 Overall (max 83) plus Acceleration, Interceptions, Stand Tackle and Stamina. Level 2 unlocked the Intercept PlayStyle, and level 3 added Slide Tackle.

It suited anyone who wanted a defensive fullback without spending coins, but since it has ended, the only use now is as a reference for similar future Evolutions.
